I like to think as many games as art but I will say that Alan Wake captured all the things of different kind of art and used it well in it's game. Story, music, visuals, all blend with good gameplay that ties well to all of these functions. Alan Wake definitly is a good example of game needing to be considered art. If movies and tv shows can because of writing and Music can because of how it makes you feel as much as a static picture, so can a game, especially when it's well designed.
